A Peek at Success...

I love to offer mini sessions a couple times a year for a few reasons. 1.) They go by quickly and the fast pass usually keeps everyone at high energy and with lots of smiles. 2.) I get to see many families all at once and the people ARE my favorite part of photography. 3.) Slow Down, Life!

Where did the last 9 months go?! I have the privilege of marking 1st year milestones with this little guy and I couldn't be more excited about this session.. I am so in love with his emerging personality and his discovery of his voice, his movements, and the world around him. I simply love this family. :)

He was ALL done with photos....it was on to bigger things: Like eating grass! :)

The Future Looks Bright...

There are times when I think back to that last year of High School and remember the excitement along with the trepidation that accompanied the next step....but that was me. :) Meet Austin: He's smart and knows exactly what he wants out the next step in life. I admire that kind of determination in a person his age.  This session was so full of fun moments we got to have in the gorgeous Fall weather. I want to wish him the best of luck as he finishes this last year of school and then on to college to become an Aerospace Engineer. HAPPY 2014 GRADUATION, Austin!

The Big Day...

Happy 1st Birthday to this little guy! The first couple of years in a child's life are SO full. There are so many milestones, like sitting up to crawling to taking steps to saying words... I love witnessing some of these rights of passage through photography. These years go so fast and I love that these parents want to document this special time in their child's life. To Watch One Grow...

With a big dark storm rumbling over the mountains, we made a last minute decision, loaded up the car and changed locations. And what fun we had. I was so blessed to watch this little guy turn 1 and now as he turns 2 and we celebrate the soon coming of a sibling I can't help but be a little nostalgic. And if his sibling has even a portion of the personality that this little guy has, there will never be a dull moment in this FUN household. His laugh was contagious! And I want to know if the "Cow Coming?" too. :)
